Peter Kingsbery

Peter Kingsbery is an American singer-songwriter, recognized for his exceptional voice and emotional songwriting.

He became known in the mid-1980s as the founder, songwriter and singer of the band Cock Robin, whose iconic songs "The promise you made", "When your heart is weak" and "Just Around The Corner" achieved international success, particularly in Europe.

The group obtained several gold and platinum records and established itself as a reference in Anglo-Saxon pop.

Alongside his work with Cock Robin, Peter embarked on a solo career marked by a more introspective artistic exploration. He released several solo albums, praised for their musical elegance and melodic richness.

In 1997 he made a lasting impression with his moving cover of "Only The Very Best", the English version of the legendary "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" by D.Balavoine.

This track became a real success, praised for its simplicity, vocal intensity and ability to capture the emotional world of songs.

Peter Kingsbery has performed extensively in France and internationally throughout his career, both solo and with Cock Robin. His regular presence on stage has forged a strong and lasting connection with his audience.

In 2023 he opened his production company EDWIN ELLIS MUSIC, where he produced an EP and is currently preparing a new album scheduled for 2026.
